Bowling

We wanted to do something fun today, so we decided to go bowling. We haven't been bowling since before Sam was born, so we didn't do that great. Sam didn't know what to think about it at first.
I think it scared him to begin with, especially before they turned off the buzzer if you cross over the line. The ball would set it off every time, which would make Sam turn around and run, but he got the hang of it after a while and actually started enjoying himself.

He loved cheering and giving us 5.

He also understood the game. He knew that it was good to get lots of pins down, but it was bad if you didn't get any down. His ball was going off to one side, and he was saying, "Oh no, oh no."

But he loved it when the ball actually hit the pins. "Yeah!"
You've gotta love Charlie's stance when he bowls...
but it seems to work for him :) (He was actually throwing his hands up in disgust because he didn't throw a very good ball this time) He had one awesome throw that I have to talk about. He had a pretty bad split, so he went up and just threw the ball, twisting it in the air. You wouldn't have expected him to get the pins with the throw he did, but it spun just right to where it ricocheted off one pin and hit the other.
"Go Daddy!"We had a really fun time. We'll definitely have to do it again soon.
