Slide Rock

 The Young Men and Young Women had an activity a while back at Slide Rock. I thought Sam would have a fun time, so I took him with me. I know that there was another reason that I took him with me, but I can't remember. Maybe there was no one else to watch him or something. Sam was really excited when I told him he could go. He was also excited because I told him that where we were going was made out of sandstone. "You mean like in Minecraft?!?!?!"

He had a really fun time. We went down together a ton of times. Eventually, I got too tired to do anymore, plus it was hurting my knees, so I told him if he wanted to keep going, he would have to go by himself. I expected some reluctance because he usually is scared to do things like that by himself, but he was excited to try it by himself.

I eventually had to just tell him that we needed to leave. It was getting late and he was going to be a grouch in the morning if he didn't get some sleep. He kept telling me how fun it was and he hoped that he could go next time they go for mutual. I think we'll have to go back again soon.
