May 26-- Sam's Fun Day at School

Sam had his fun day at school at the end of the year. He requested that we come to it. I enjoyed watching him. He had a lot of fun with his friends. Charlie came for as long as he could, but he had clients that day.

Look at that jump :)

He was so proud that he jumped 6 feet!

After all these activities, it was lunch time. Sam had said that he would be fine with a lunch packed from home instead of the sack lunch at school. But apparently he was the only one with a lunch from home, and it was his favorite lunch (uncrustables) so he was pretty sad. They only packed as many as they needed, so there weren't any extras. One of the volunteers heard that he wanted a sack lunch. She said she didn't know they were going to give her one and she had her own food, so Sam could have hers. He was happy after that.
He was wanting me to come to the movie with him as well, but my mom was watching the other kids and I thought I should probably take over. Then my mom said she was fine watching them longer if I wanted to go to the movie. So I surprised Sam. He was excited. The movie was Rio 2. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it better if I had ever seen Rio 1, but it was still fun. They had K-2 in the gym. All the teachers left to finish up last minute things. All that were there were like 3 teachers aids and maybe a couple other volunteers. It was ok for the most part, but they had popcorn for everyone, which made everyone thirsty, so the needed drinks, then they needed to go to the bathroom. It got a little crazy for a while.
Sam had a really fun day. I was glad I was able to be there with him.
