We headed over to Family Fun Night with my sister and her kids, along with my parents. Charlie stayed home since he was still recuperating from his hospital stay. We got our dinner, and then surprised Sam that Tyler was going to be coming to Family Fun Night. He was excited, since he hadn't seen Tyler in a long time. Declan was there too, so they all hung out together that night. Sam had wanted a BB-8. I don't know if the person just didn't know how or if they weren't allowing things other than what was on the poster, but he ended up getting a snake. He was still happy with it.

Brett really wanted to go in, but then he was scared to move.
Brett got a minion painted. This was after everything was over, so he was pretty tired.
I told Sam I thought I had everything I needed to do a BB-8 for him. Then I pulled out the few paints that I had and realized the ones that I needed were dried out (I hadn't pulled them out for a few years) but I was able to pull together everything for a R2D2.
The next morning was the parade. Tyler was able to come sit by us.
It's always great when they hand out ice cream sandwiches.
The fireworks were that night. Charlie still wasn't feeling up to going anywhere, but he said he would be ok watching the two younger kids. So I took Sam out there. He brought a couple of light sabers that he got for his birthday. He had a lot of fun playing on the gravel mound with a few friends he found there.
It was pretty fun. Sam was excited to sit on top of the car while we watched.
