Denver Children's Museum--Bubble Station

I guess now is as good a time as any to finally get this done. I figured it would be a lot easier if I did all these in mini posts instead of one gigantic post.
In the last post I mentioned that we had taken a trip to Denver, but I knew it would take a while to post it all.

We went to the Denver Children's Museum. It's made up of lots of different stations for kids to visit. The first station was the Bubble Station.

Sam wasn't quite sure what to think at first. It was the first place we went, and I think Sam was still getting used to the idea. We kept coming back and forth to this station, depending on what he was scared of mare (He absolutely hated the fire engine, so when we went there, he announced he wanted to go back to the bubbles :)

One area had large metal hoops that made really long bubbles. One of us would hold one handle and Sam would hold the other. Then we would run to the other side of the room, and it would make a big long bubble. Sam had tons of fun with it. We even put it up over his head once, so he was in the bubble. He wasn't quite sure what to think of that.

Another area had a platform that you stood on and pulled on a rope. It would enclosed you in a big bubble. Sam was terrified and never got used to it. We had to carry him onto the platform in order to get a picture.
Another area had a wheel you turned and this machine would make huge bubbles, depending how far you turned the wheel. Sam enjoyed turning the wheel, but it took him some time to go pop the big bubbles. Not until he saw some other kid popping them.

Another area had a bubble machine on the ceiling. The bubbles had smoke inside them, so they looked really cool when they popped. It took a very long time to get Sam to get over to this part. I think he thought the bubbles were hot because they were smoking. After he finally got used to them, he had a ton of fun trying to catch them and popping them.

Sam looked really cute in his lab coat and goggles. For some reason he reminded me of my dad when he had them on.
Sam really enjoyed this station.
