Denver Children's Museum--Kitchen and Shopping Station

This station was a kitchen and shopping center. In the kitchen were all the fixings to make fake pizza. The coals in the oven looked real, and Sam thought it was hot. He wouldn't play with it until we stuck his hands directly on it it show him that it wasn't hot. He loved throwing food in the oven, waiting a couple minutes, and taking the food back out. There was a small counter where we could sit while Sam served us the food he had prepared.

Sam also enjoyed serving us beverages.
After that, he went shopping. They had little shopping carts that were just his size. He would grab the food off the shelves.
Then take it over to the cash register.
And someone was usually there to bag the food.
Then he would take his newly bought groceries back over to the kitchen and cook some more.
I have to say, I was pretty jealous of this station. I wish I was able to have something like this in my house. Sam has always loved playing cooking.
