Denver Children's Museum--Rocket Station

In this area, kids were supposed to build rockets out of paper, and then take them over to launch them. I attempted to make one for Sam that he could launch, but I wasn't having much luck. Luckily, there was a gap between the netting around the launching area, so Charlie was able to just grab some from there that Sam could launch. He loved it. First, you put the rocket on the tube. Then you hold down one button until the air pressure is built up. Then you push the other button to launch your rocket.

There were planets hanging from the ceiling that kids could aim to hit.

We eventually had to tell Sam to stop because he was getting mad that other kids were taking turns.

Also at this station were air tubes. They had light handkerchiefs that the kids could put in the tube and watch it fly. Then it would come out the top and the kids could catch them. Sam was pretty happy here too.
