1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
In the bathroom.
2- Who was with you?
Charlie was sleeping in the bedroom.
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?
I took a test. It said I was.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
"It's about time." We had been trying for quite a while.
5- Your Husbands reaction?
"Cool." It was about 4 in the morning, and Charlie doesn't function well when he just wakes up.

Charlie
7-Did you plan to get pregnant?
Yes
8-Was everybody happy for you?
Very much so.
9- Did you go out and celebrate?
We probably went out for dinner or something. We still had money then.
10- Did you want to find out the sex?
I know I did, I think Charlie wanted to know too.
11- What was the sex?
Boy
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Yes
13- If yes, who?
My mom
14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
There were certain parts of certain outfits that he was never put in.
15- How much weight did you gain?
Forty pounds. I actually weighed more than my brother David for about 2 weeks. :(
16- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained?
Not yet, but I'm almost there. It helps to lose a few pounds when you get sick and can't eat anything.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Oh yeah. Tons of them.
18- What did you crave the most?
Orange dream bars
19- Did you crave anything crazy?
I craved broccoli a couple times.
The fact that I couldn't eat everything that I wanted. I had to cut down on my salty snacks and stuff like that. Of course it was nothing compared to what was off limits after I had the baby.
21- Were you married at the time?
Yes
22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
If you count power failure during labor complications.
23- Where were you when you went into labor?
In the hospital. I was induced early to make sure that Charlie wasn't on the mountain when I had the baby.
24- Did your water break?
I thought it had to in order to have a baby...
No 25? Hmmm.
26- Did you go early or late?
I was induced a week early
27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
Charlie, my mom, the doctor, and a couple nurses.
28- Was it video taped?
Umm, no. I don't think I would want that tape lying around my house.
29- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Oh yeah. Although I almost didn't. No one could get ahold of the anestheisiologist for about an hour. He was in his garden and left his cell phone in his house.
30-Did you go vaginal or have a c-section?
vaginal
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
I thought, "They should really clean him up before they give him to me."
32- How big was the baby(s)?
7 lbs 1 oz
33- Did your Husband cry?
Yep
34- What did you name the baby(s)?
Samuel David Cordova
35-Did the name have any significance to you?
Samuel after Charlie's brother (Clinton Samuel) and David after my brother
36-Does the baby's name fit?
Yeah. We call him Sam or Sammy most of the time, but the full name sure has a nice ring to it when I'm mad :)
37- Did the baby(s) have any complications?
He had a little bit of jaundice, and he was spoiled from day one, but I don't think that counts as complications
38- How old is your baby today?
8 months on the 29th
39- When is the next one(s) coming?
Hopefully not any time soon.
40- If you could would you do it all over again?
I think I have to. I don't have the money to adopt.

Can I ask why you were taking a pregnancy test at four in the morning??
That's the best time to take them to get the most accurate results.
