This is a great article showing support for all religions to take place in public policy. It's an interfaith group that defends the rights of all religions. Since Proposition 8 passed in California you saw a backlash against members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Members of that faith, and other faiths stood firm for what they felt was the important social issue of how we define marriage. The ballot passed and made an amendment to the California Constitution which defined marriage as between a man and a woman. You saw homosexual support groups out in force against the LDS church, who is a religious minority. Churches were being vandalized, violence occurred in some "peaceful" protests. Letters were sent to sacred places of worship containing a white powdery substance. These are all attempts by left wing activists to intimidate members of all faiths into letting them run our public policy. Well this article says very plainly that this cannot be tolerated. I encourage everyone to read this article and support the rights of religious people all over the United States.

What a great statement from members of a variety of faiths that would not always agree with each other on any particular arguement! We should all have the same sense of disgust at these acts of intimidation.
