Christmas

It was a pretty hectic Christmas for us. It started out at my parents' house Christmas morning. We had Brian's family there too (which includes Brian, Raegan, Eva, and Rebecca). Eric and Stephanie came later that morning. We opened our presents, or at least attempted to with Eva trying to open everyone's present.

After that, we called David to talk to him (he's on a mission in Dominican Republic). It never fails that something goes wrong when we call to talk to him. It wasn't so major this year. David just forgot about Daylight Savings Time, so he was waiting at the church for an hour waiting for us to call him. I laughed at him struggling to talk in English, and he laughed at me struggling just to talk. As luck would have it, I lost my voice Christmas morning. Eric said it was just Charlie's Christmas wish coming true:).

We then went to Grandma Allred's for breakfast (we were a little late because of the phone call) and presents, then over to Grandma and Grandpa Savage's to open presents. When we were done there, we headed over to Charlie's parents' for a while. We left kind of in a hurry because I was feeling pretty sick. When I got home, I flopped into bed. So there's our Christmas. On Sunday, we will head over to Powell to finish Christmas at Charlie's Grandma's house, and then we'll be done. I just hope we have room to take everything home with us.
