Easter Weekend

Our weekend started off with the Easter Egg Hunt in Byron. It went a lot better for us this year. Brett had fun with his Easter Egg Hunt. Sam was a good helper and held the bucket for Brett while he picked up eggs. It didn't take him long to figure it out.

We had a short wait from the time Brett's finished until Sam's started. But even a short time is hard for Brett. He wanted to run around all over the place. Luckily, there was a swing nearby, and he was satisfied just swinging with his dad.

We tried to coach Sam on where to go, but I think he gets confused with so many people running around. He still did better than last year since there weren't near as many kids.

After the Easter Egg Hunt, we headed over to Charlie's parents. Sam had fun feeding the goats.

Brett saw Sam doing it and thought it looked like fun.

Charlie took off for a much-needed fishing trip. While he was gone, a fire started on the river bank in Byron. It's amazing that the worst structural damage was melting the siding on someone's house. The fire was huge.

In between General Conference sessions on Sunday, we had an Easter Egg Hunt of our own. Sam was really excited for it since I put money in the eggs. I spread out a bunch of eggs in plain sight for Brett and told Sam to leave them there for him. But he was too excited for the eggs and kept taking them. We had to constantly remind him to leave them for Brett.

Sam thought it would be fun to empty all the eggs, then jump on the trampoline with all the eggs :)
