Last week, we took a trip to Utah to go to Charlie's Mission Reunion. We stayed at Michelle's aunt Melin's. Her kids seemed to take a liking to Sam, and he seemed to like them too. They loved to play together, especially Lyssa.
The last reunion we went to, the traffic was so horrible, we ended up arriving just in time for the closing prayer. So learning from our mistakes, we left about 3 hours early. With no traffic, we got there about 2 hours before it started. It turned out OK because they needed help setting up. It was fun seeing people from Charlie's mission and talking to his Mission President. We talked so long, we didn't even leave until about 11:00 pm, putting us back at Melin's around midnight. We were all tired, considering we had arrived in Utah around midnight the night before. Needless to say, we all slept fairly soundly.
Sam actually didn't do that bad during the trip. We bought him a new toy to keep him occupied better (it didn't work as well as we would have liked). He got restless at times, but we would pull over somewhere and walk around a while so we could all stretch. Good trip all in all.

I'm glad you all had a fun trip. That is such a cute picture! Did Sam dump out all the bears or did he have help?
