Brett had a lot of fun helping Charlie put out the fire after burning all the weeds.
The weather finally cooperated enough for Charlie to get the Christmas lights off the house. Sam had a lot of fun being up on the roof. It's funny that he's afraid of heights but loves going up on the roof.
Brett wants to do things just like Sam. Sam was letting him play Minecraft with him. It didn't work out too well since Brett kept pushing the pause button and causing the game to stop. Sam was patient,..for a little while :)
We got to go to the Byron Easter Egg Hunt.
Brett did a really good job. Either there weren't as many people, or people were just being nice, but Brett ended up with 6 eggs (a lot more than Sam got one year).
Sam was excited for his Easter Egg Hunt. We made sure that he knew not to fight over any eggs, like he has in the past, and just move on to the next one. There were plenty for everybody.
After everyone was done, I walked around with Sam and Brett to look for more eggs that got missed. We ended up finding about 15 more eggs. One of them had the paper for a prize basket, so Sam got a basket again this year. He was so proud of himself for being patient and looking for more eggs.
The kids got new Easter clothes this year. Sam wanted to show off the mini light sabers he got in his Easter basket.
I had a really hard time keeping Brett still enough for a picture.

At first glance the pictures of Charlie on the roof look like the tress behind him are actually flames. I thought you were posting that you'd caught your house on fire! :) Glad that wasn't the case. Thanks for the prayers.
