Hullabaloo and Other Stuff

Yeah, I know it's been a while since I updated, and to make up for it, I was going to put up the cutest video of Sam playing his new game, Hullabaloo. But it's not uploading on here, so I posted it on my Facebook page instead. It's definitely worth it to go watch it. Here are a few pictures of him playing it. The video definitely shows it better, but he's doing his funky dance.




One night, I was on the verge of a migraine, so I went into the bathroom and took a bath. I get claustrophobic when I am in COMPLETE darkness, but the light hurt too bad, so I took one of our flashlights and put it on the dimmest setting so there was a little light. Sam came in and saw the flashlight and has been obsessed with it ever since. So last night, we shut off all the lights and walked around the house with our flashlights. He had lots of fun chasing me around with his beam of light :)



I bought a couple spray bottles to help us keep cool on long road trips this summer since our a/c went out. Sam loves playing with them. Charlie and Sam had a big water fight one day with them. I have a video of this also. I'll try and put that one on here as well, but it probably won't work.




So to update since my last post, Charlie ended up needing surgery on his hand. He was pretty loopy for a while afterwards. It's healing pretty well now. It's not completely healed yet, but it's getting there. And now he can tell when a storm is coming :)
Charlie's getting through grad school. He ended his first semester with a 4.0. It's pretty hectic now. Most days he leaves at 9 in the morning and get's home between 9 and 11 at night, with a couple hours of a break for lunch and dinner. Only 2 more years!
Sam has started preschool. A bunch of mothers take turns teaching the lesson. Next weeks is my turn. It should be interesting :) Time to put my degree to some use, I guess.
