We were very excited when it was finally his turn to receive his diploma.
That is, until after we realize we still had over half the auditorium to go. The graduation lasted about 3 hours. It was kind of a blessing in disguise the Sam was still feeling under the weather, because he crashed right at the beginning and was out for most of the ceremony. After he woke up, my dad took him out to walk around. He was still pretty lethargic, until he saw all the Cowboys banners. Then apparently, he just started yelling, "Go Pokes!" and running around everywhere looking at all the decorations. My dad says that Charlie has corrupted him :)
After graduation, we all headed back to our apartment for a graduation/birthday party. Here's one of the cakes I made. Charlie and Sam both like Phineas and Ferb, so I thought it was fitting :)
I also made a small cake for Sam to blow out the candles. I didn't want him spitting all over the big cake, especially when he's not feeling so great. Charlie also requested an ice cream cake, so I made one of those as well. Needless to say, we have been quite overwhelmed with cake lately.
When Sam saw the presents, he ran right over and started tearing them apart. I guess it was time to open presents :)
This is a new Wii game that he's wanted for quite a while.
He had a lot of fun blowing out the candles. He kept wanting to do it over and over again. He enjoyed it until he got too close and scared himself.
Sam is enthralled with my camera lately. He loves taking pictures. I usually have about 100 pictures to delete off my camera by the end of the day. Thank goodness for digital cameras :) Here are a couple of self-portraits he took.

Congrats Charlie! I wish we could've been there. The cake looks fun. I know my kids would have loved it. It's their new favorite cartoon.
The birthday presents look fun! We have one of those fridge phonics toys and it has been a hit with all our kids.
I really wish we lived closer....The boys would be such good friends. Miss you guys and love you lots!
