Denver-Astros Games

Charlie's parents came to visit when we went to the Astros games in Denver. They watched Sam while we went to the first game. They took him to a park that was about a block away from the place we were staying.
I was surprised that he went on this slide. He usually doesn't go on twisty ones.

We decided to get dinner at the ball park, which in hindsight was a bad idea. It's way too expensive. Charlie did find a fairly good deal on ribs. I think he got 6 bones for $5, which seemed reasonable, especially for a ball park. They had a lot of meat on them. There was a train station not too far away from where we were. You can get a round-trip ticket for $2, free parking, and the train stops only a few blocks away from the stadium. Since Sam is really into trains right now, we decided to ride the trains.
He would point and yell "Train!" any time a train would come by.

He really liked it, and I think he was kind of sad to get off.
There is a kid park in the stadium, so when Sam started to get restless, I decided to take him over there. He stayed for about a minute, then he got a little freaked out that there were so many people. I didn't even get a chance to take any pictures.

The game got over I think at about 10 pm, and we had to be back in Laramie the next day because of something Charlie had to be to. So we got back on the train and headed back to the car. It was a long trip back. Anyone who has traveled in Wyoming knows how bad construction gets in the summer, especially at night. We ended up getting home at about 2:30 am or so.
