I was able to go to Green River last weekend when Karen had her baby. A couple friends from Relief Society were nice enough to offer to drive me there. They had family in Green River and Utah, so we just made a trip to go see all our families. We left Thursday afternoon. My mom was already there since my grandparents had been going to Utah and they dropped her off. I was really glad she was there, because if she wasn't, I would have had to watch 3 little boys all by myself, which normally wouldn't be so bad, but we were stuck inside because of bad weather. We needed to go shopping first, so we headed to Rock Springs to Walmart. It was about 11:00 at night before I got to Green River, so it was pretty late, and Sam was having a hard time with that, but I came up with a solution.
I had to buy pillows anyway, so they made a great little bed for Sam.
My dad came on Friday. Karen had her baby on Friday, so we went to Evanston later that afternoon to see her. He's a pretty cute baby.
Justin Michael with the not-too-proud Grandma.
Justin with his mom and brothers.
We got back to Karen's house, and since she had just moved in a week earlier, a lot of stuff was still in boxes. So me being the organizer that I am, I unpacked as much as I could. See, so my compulsiveness can come in handy sometimes.
Sam had an extremely hard time adjusting, which I thought was weird. He's usually not that bad. I finally figured it out after a couple days. He has 2 new teeth that broke through during this time. He was a lot better after that. I went home with my parents on Tuesday, and we were really cramped since Danielle (Charlie's cousin) gave me a TON of scrapbooking stuff. I had to sit the whole way with a bunch of stuff on my lap because there wasn't room anywhere else. But we got it all packed in somehow. I can't wait to use the stuff! It will be fun.
It's the end of the semester, which means we will be leaving soon, which means no more Wednesday night volleyball. I'll miss it, but I'll look on the bright side: Maybe I'll actually get to bed at a decent hour. It's not unusual for me to stay until 11:30, sometimes even later.
Now all we have left is to go to the Astros games on Wednesday and Thursday, then pack and head to Lovell for the summer. Charlie is still feeling stressed for some reason. He feels like he should still be studying and doing homework, so when he's sitting down and relaxing, he feels like he's wasting his time. He decided that maybe it's because we hadn't celebrated him being done with finals, so we decided to go to dinner and a movie. We were going to go to Corona Village, but with it being graduation time, it was jammed full of students and proud parents. We opted for Wendy's and we'll go to Corona Village another time. We went to see "Taken" but since it was a last minute decision, we didn't have anyone to watch Sam. I had to watch most of the movie through the slit of the curtain because Sam didn't want to be in the theater. From what I could see it was a good movie. Well, I think that's about it. My mom has some other pictures of Sam and his new cousin. I'll get those on there as soon as I get a copy of them.

Sounds like a fun trip! (Other than the teeth...) That is great you were able to help Karen with the boys and unpacking.
Was Taken a good movie? It was the 2nd of a double feature we went to a couple of months ago...Unfortunately we got a call from the baby-sitter right at the end of the first movie saying Joseph was sick so we went home before we could watch it. I was disapointed. Oh well.
As fas as I saw, it was a good movie. I basically only got to see the 2nd half because Sam was too grumpy. Charlie really liked it.
I love you obsessive cleaning (never thought I would say that to you LOL.)...when you are at my house...you should come by more often. Hehehe. Thanks for all your help.
