Well, we brought home a lot of sickness with us from Spring Break. Sam's had a bad cough for about a week. We decided to take him to the doctor. It turns out that he has an ear infection too. I can never tell if his ears are hurting him because he always pulls at his ears because I do that all the time. So now he's on antibiotics for his ear infection and his cough. To make matters worse, his gums are all swollen because he's teething too. Poor guy! But I'll look on the bright side. This medicine makes him really tired, so he sleeps a ton, which gives me more time to either pick up the house or take a nap myself. And last night, although I'm not sure if it was the medicine he had or the Nyquil I had, but I didn't hear him wake up once, not even to cough or anything. And he has never been so relaxed.
Me and Charlie were both up at 5. We went to bed at 9:30 because we were so exhausted. Charlie was too congested to breathe, and when he got up it woke me up. Luckily we were able to get back to sleep in about an hour. Charlie is sick enough that he's not going to school or work, but I don't blame him for not wanting to go outside. It's horrible weather. Yesterday was just warm enough that I didn't need a jacket, and today, I need a jacket while I'm inside. Hopefully we'll all be better soon.
