I decided that my sister was going to need help moving from Pocatello to Green River, so I made plans to help her pack. I was planning on meeting her in Green River (They were there house hunting) and then traveling back with her to Pocatello. Then I decided that it might be fun to help her find houses, because it sounded like her husband wasn't being much help :). I left on Tuesday to Green River. Everyone was scared because they were afraid I was going to hit bad weather and wreck and kill everyone, but the weather was great, and I made it to Green River just fine. The night I got there, Karen and I went out to look for apartments for rent. There is absolutely nothing to rent there. We did find a realtor that was able to take us to a few houses the next day. I think there was one that Karen liked, but we'll see how that pans out.
So the plan was to stay with them in Green River until they found somewhere to live, and then head to Pocatello for packing. It didn't happen that way. Charlie needed me home, plus they found out that their new employer was going to pack their stuff and move them for free. I ended up leaving Wednesday afternoon. I think I kind of freaked my dad out by leaving when I did. I got out of Green River at 3:00. When my dad got home from work at 5, I guess my mom told him I was traveling, and he was checking the traffic cameras on the route. There was supposed to be really bad weather around Arlington, but it cleared up right as I was passing through. Then it got nasty there again. I got home with no incidences.
Even though I had fun with my sister and her family (Sam had fun with his cousins as well), I was glad to be home. Even though I wasn't gone very long, it felt like forever.
I found out that Sam isn't that big on swimming (he may have just been tired). This really surprised me because he LOVES his baths and loves seeing how big of splashes he can make. He just kept crying every time I tried to get him in the pool. However he did like the hot tub. I guess the hot water felt good to him. I only let him put his legs in, but he was very content just sitting there for about half an hour. We'll have to try again another time, after he's had a nice nap.

You forgot to mention that you were homesick too...;) (You know you were). I don't blame you, things change when you get married and you just can't stand to be away from your hubby. I was glad that you got to come down, even for a little while, I needed the stress relief...especially on our trip to Rock Springs. I still laugh thinking about that, that was the most I have laughed in FOREVER.
You so should have let me know you were going to be here! And you're welcome to as much of that scrapbooking stuff that you want. Just let me know when you'll be here and I'll try to meet up with you. Who is your brother in law going to work for? I'm sorry you didn't have much luck finding them any place to rent...pickings are kind of slim but it surprises me there wasn't anything!
OK Karen, I was a little homesick too. And Danielle, I'll probably take you up on that offer. I'll probably be back there before too long. Who knows, maybe I'll come to help Karen move in. (Don't get any ideas Karen. It's just a thought :)
