Loose Tooth

Sam was so excited when he noticed that one of his teeth was loose. He's been waiting a long time to be able to lose a tooth. I think all his friends had been losing teeth, and he wanted to as well. We waited for it to loosen a little more, then decided it was time to pull it. He wasn't so excited after that.

We told him that if he ate a freezie, it would help numb it and might not hurt as much.

 We worked at it for a while. Sam was getting pretty anxious and wanted to stop. Charlie was able to finally get a good grip on it with dental floss and was able to pull it out without Sam really even noticing.

He wrote a note to the tooth fairy to tell her how brave he was when he was getting his tooth pulled (It took quite a while), so the tooth fairy gave him a little extra money.

He has another loose tooth now, but he's not nearly as excited to lose that one :)
