Sam helped Grandma make some bread when his cousins came to visit. They had lots of fun playing with the dough. To anyone who received bread, don't worry. Sam was the only one allowed to eat the bread that he made :)
While we're in Lovell, Sam is staying in my old room. He didn't like that it was written on the door that it was my room, so he decided to make his own sign :)
They had a person doing balloon animals. It was really popular. We decided to do it last so Sam wouldn't accidentally pop it doing other activities. We waited in line for probably 2 hours or so (which just about killed me), but Sam was very happy to finally get his monster hat.
Saturday morning was the parade. I learned from the Lovell parade that it hurt way too much to sit through a parade, so I stayed home. Sam got to be on one of the floats with Charlie. I think he had fun.
That night was the fireworks. We went early to get some food and find a spot. We were trying to decide where to sit. I didn't want to be really close because I wasn't sure how the baby would react, and Sam isn't a big fan of loud noises. We ended up sitting at the ball park, which worked pretty good. There weren't a lot of people there, so Sam was able to run around without getting lost in the crowd. There was a group of kids there that Sam had fun playing with. When it started getting dark, we had him come play down. There was still quite a while until the fireworks would start, so it was hard keeping him in one place. Grandpa Cordova bought him a light gun, which Sam absolutely loved.
We were able to get out pretty quickly, which was good because I was pretty sore from walking around so much and laying on the hard ground.
Charlie and his dad took Sam to the Park County Fair. From what I hear, he had fun. They ran into Charlie's cousin and her family, so Sam had someone there to go on all the rides with him. I sure that helped a lot in making it fun.
They also went to the Cowley Days parade. Sam always likes getting free candy :)
Sam sure loves Winchester :) He's been happy to have so much time to play with him.
We went to the Monsters University movie. Sam did great sitting through the whole movie. I think he liked it.
Sam has had tons of cousins to play with lately. I'm dreading the time when everyone is gone and it's back to just him.
Now the next post better be about a new baby :)
