Building Fun!
I went to Green River for a few days to help my sister build some stuff. We had a lot more planned to do, but time just didn't agree with us. I left a little later than I planned to, so I didn't get to Green River until about 2 or 3. We got a bunk bed put up, but that was it for the first day since the babysitter wasn't able to watch Karen's kids that night. We were planning a trip to Home Depot to get supplies, so that had to wait until morning. That trip took a lot longer than we thought it would, and by the time we got supplies and kids home, feedings finished, and naps completed, we didn't actually start any projects until about 5 pm. And that took a while too. We finally got all the pieces cut out for a toy box just in time for everyone to go to bed. We got up this morning and put it together by about 1:00 pm. I wanted to leave and be home before dark, so I basically left right after that, but here's the not-quite finished product:

As you can see, it's big enough for 2 kids to fit in. Luckily it's tall enough that they can't climb in it on their own. The top was a little warped and didn't line up exactly, but other than that, I think it turned out pretty good, especially considering that I'd never used a circular saw or router before. But I must say that I love the router. It puts on finishing touches to it and makes it look tons better. I was hoping to finish it completely and get it painted. Oh well. It was fun hanging out with my sister. In her words, I make her giggle, so it's always fun times. I get a nice workout just with the amount of laughing that goes on (Would you like to donate it? hahahaha! Silly cashiers) Sam had lots of fun with his cousins too. All things considered, he did really well. I was locked up in a room for a majority of the time, and he was pretty good about it. He got cranky a few times, but it's to be expected. Hopefully we'll be able to go back soon and finish up all the projects we planned.
